The inaugural George M. Sheldrick Prize for Contributions to Structural Science of the American Union of Crystallography was presented on August 18 to Stephanie Wankowicz of Vanderbilt University, in conjunction with her keynote lecture. The Prize recognizes outstanding contributions by non-tenured, early-career researchers who advance molecular structure determination through innovative methods, algorithms, or software.
