The purpose of the GIG on Education in Crystallography is to promote and spread crystallography through education at different levels.

This GIG is a conduit to communicate and discuss the interests of European Young Crystallographers within the association.

SIG-08 represents, supports and synchronizes activities related to powder diffraction and to stimulate information exchange and diffusion within the European powder diffraction community.

ECACOMSIG (SIG-09) promotes all aspects of Computing in Crystallography. As such, its activities are central to most of the other SIGs in the ECA.
