GIG-03 is happy to announce the release of the sixth video of the project supported by the Royal Society of Chemistry Inclusion and Diversity Fund. The project’s scope is to celebrate the importance of women in the field of crystallography and science, while, at the same time, raising awareness about the pitfalls and obstacles on the way to reach gender parity in science, eliminate stereotypes, increase sensitivity, and facilitate equal treatment of everyone at all stages of a scientific career. The speaker is Natalia Alvarez from the Facultad de Química at the Universidad de la República in Uruguay: “My scientific roller coaster ride: from imagination to reality”.
