Dear Colleagues,
As set out in the Statutes and By-laws of the ECA, current levels of Affiliate and Individual Membership mean that there are three positions for Individual Member Representatives available. These three-year term positions are nominated and elected by you, the Individual Members, to represent your views and interests to the ECA Council. Representatives are invited to attend Council meetings, so representation is important as it’s the most efficient way to get your voice across.
This message serves as a call for nominations for Individual Member Representatives to the Council. Representatives shall be elected by a ballot from a list of all nominations signed by at least six Affiliate or Individual members.

Candidates are also invited to submit a short personal statement outlining why they consider themselves suitable for the role. The deadline for nomination of Representatives (including six signatories) will be Friday 6th February 2026.
Upon receipt of all valid nominations, we will arrange an online ballot to hold the elections in the period 9th-19th February 2026.
