The ECA webpage has be redesigned with a new look and functionality.The new site features a better integration of Interest groups (IGs), Social networks integration features, distributed content managing and administration and forms for on-line procedures.
These pages are intended to gently introduce ECA members and officers to the new site.
The layout of the page is shown in the figure below. It contains six main areas
- The header, hosting the logo (with a link to the main page), the main menu, the social networks integration bar and the member tools bar.
- The “featured news” slider bar. Is only shown in the main page.
- The left sidebar, containing the list of interest groups (IG bar) and widgets for login, search, recent posts, recent comments and archives.
- The right sidebar, containing the logos of the Corporate/Affiliate members, the ECA partners and a tag cloud widget for quick navigation.
- The footer, not shown in the image, containing the social networks integration bar and a copyright message.
- The contents area between the two sidebars.
