SUMMARY:2nd International School on Porous Materials (MOFschool2021)
DESCRIPTION:Dear Colleagues\, \nWith great pleasure we announce that the applications are now open for the 2nd International School on Porous Materials (MOFschool2021) which will take place in June 21th-25th 2021. \nAs much as the Covid-19 pandemic will allow travelling\, MOFschool2021 will be held as a blended event\, at Villa del Grumello\, on the beautiful shores of Lake Como\, Italy. In this case\, a restricted number of participants will be welcomed in presence\, while the rest in remote. In case the pandemic will make this solution unfeasible\, MOFschool2021 will be held as a completely in-remote event. \nThe School is addressed to qualified undergraduate\, graduate and PhD students as well as young post-doctoral fellows with a maximum age of 35. Applicants will be selected by the School Directors based on their CVs. \nThe School gathers some of the worldwide experts in the field of metal-organic and covalent-organic frameworks and will cover the current research developments. Starting from advanced synthetic methods\, the School will propose representative examples of up-to-date characterization techniques and cutting-edge applications\, up to implementation into devices. \nGrants are available to (fully or partially) cover the participation costs.
